1. Who we are

Nordic Talent Connect ("NTC", "we", "us") operates this website and recruitment service. Our registered office is Rue du Commerce 31, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium. You can contact our data protection team at office@ntc.it.com. For the purpose of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), NTC is the data controller of the personal data processed via this website.

2. Data we collect

• Application data: name, email, country, profession, education, date of birth, message, and CV/resume you upload.
• Screening answers: responses you provide to our short eligibility questions.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, device, and basic usage information needed to operate and secure the site.

3. Why we use it (legal bases)

• Recruitment and matching: to evaluate your application and contact you about opportunities (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual steps; Art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest in operating a recruitment service).
• Scheduling interviews: through our scheduling provider Calendly.
• Service operation and security: to keep the website running, prevent abuse and rate-limit submissions (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Legal obligations: to comply with applicable law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• Consent: for non-essential cookies and any optional communications (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. How long we keep it

We retain application data for up to 24 months after your last interaction so we can consider you for future roles. You may ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

5. Who we share it with

• Trusted infrastructure providers acting as processors (hosting, database & file storage, transactional email).
• Calendly, when you book an interview slot.
• Prospective employers, only when a role is a clear match and only with information relevant to the application.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate data or complete incomplete data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
• Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Belgium: the Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).

7. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries to run the site (e.g. security, form state, remembering your cookie choice). These do not require consent. Any non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, strict access controls, server-side validation and rate limiting to protect your data. Application data and uploaded CVs are not publicly accessible.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
